At HerdDogg, we are passionate about farming and ranching. Based in Ashland, OR with a growing presence in Colorado, HerdDogg is a venture-backed AgTech company that builds hardware and software solutions for animal traceability and livestock welfare. Our platform helps producers make more money from every animal they raise, and our hardware is proudly designed and manufactured in the United States. We are a fast-growing company and are looking for an experienced and dynamic Director of Programs: The Grange.

The Grange is HerdDogg’s preeminent platform for 3rd party livestock-focused products and services. As the Director of Programs: The Grange, you will actively manage the partner process from pre-agreement to public launch. This role is the business management point of contact for all of our external Partnerships within The Grange. The Director of Programs: The Grange must have a broad range of skills including experience with livestock producers and fundamental understanding of technology capabilities and strategic thinking as it pertains to building the best livestock eco-system in the market.


The Director of Programs (The Grange) will balance multiple disciplines, including stakeholder management, project logistics, business and sprint planning, bug and request scoping, technical implementations within The Grange, and much more.

HerdDogg is looking for a leader who embodies the idea of the #HerdDoggLife of producers and herds, is passionate about processes, stakeholder management, and business planning.

Specifications & Requirements

  • 5+ year’s experience with livestock producers (or livestock ownership)
  • 2-3 year’s experience in a Producer / Project Management role including a digital presence. 
  • Ability to collect, synthesize, and organize intake from many partner teams with speed, grace, quality and persistence
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate production operations and negotiate competing priorities against aggressive timelines
  • Continuously improving The Grange partnership experience
  • Never compromising quality or a positive digital experience for our producers or partners
  • Strong verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong strategic mind to identify advanced developments and innovations to support producer needs
  • Proactively and creatively solve issues as they arise 
  • Experience with agile development, Github, and other project management tools
